A BIT ABOUT MARY...

Mary is a degree-qualified Naturopath who believes in combining evidence based research & naturopathic philosophy to help clients understand the cause of their condition and assist them on their journey to achieving optimum health.  Her passion and love of natural therapies earned her recognition during her studies, receiving two Dean awards in academic excellence for Naturopathy and Western Herbal medicine.

Her life long interest in complementary medicine helped her raise her family on good nutrition, highlighting the importance of fresh whole foods as the first medicine of choice. Mary also sought the advice of an inspirational naturopath who helped her through her own health crisis. She experienced first hand the value of medicinal herbal medicine; self-care and taking responsibility of ones own health.

With the encouragement of her Naturopath who was soon to retire, Mary began to research herself, a spark was lit; she felt completely energised with the knowledge and insights she was discovering. This confirmed instinctively what she always knew to pursue her life long dream and so…study Naturopathy she did!

Mary continuously expands her knowledge by attending seminars as well as endlessly researching, referring to this as her “favourite hobby." Her motivation behind the research is to find the why and the root cause of a symptom. She believes, understanding the disease process is vital and only then can you truly treat the individual successfully.
